Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently interacted with tribal community leaders, Self-Help Groups, leaders of PESA committees and captains of village football clubs during his visit to Pakaria village, in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. During a programme held at the village, the Prime Minister was seen sharing a playful time with a tribal kid and getting into conversations with the women members present at the event. On June 1st, PM Modi launched the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol on Saturday which aims to eradicate anaemia by 2047.
