A 13-day-old CCTV video has surfaced from Karnataka's Mandya district, showing a heated confrontation between BJP MLA B Suresh Gowda's daughter Aishwarya and woman PSI Savitha B Patil at the Aarti Ukkada temple in Srirangapatna. The footage appears to show Aishwarya slapping the police officer, who then appears to strike back. People at the spot subsequently intervene and separate the two. The confrontation reportedly began during Bhima Amavasya celebrations on August 12, after Aishwarya was allegedly asked to wait before entering the temple's sanctum because of the heavy crowd.
