Russia launches a major overnight assault on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, firing 13 missiles and 151 drones, according to Ukrainian officials. Authorities report that at least two people are killed and six others are injured as explosions and fires erupt across multiple districts of the city. Ukraine says its air defence systems intercept or jam many of the incoming aerial threats, but falling debris damages residential buildings, warehouses, vehicles and critical infrastructure.
