Spain’s Valencia region was hit by Storm Gabrielle, unleashing torrential rain and floods just a year after deadly storms killed over 230 people. Authorities issued a red weather alert, schools and public spaces closed, and shocking flood footage circulated online. The storm has now moved east toward Alicante and the Balearics, with the alert downgraded to orange, but fears of another disaster remain.
