Nurses at Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Mumbai's Vile Parle West went on strike on Wednesday, alleging a severe shortage of nursing staff and demanding immediate recruitment. They said the hospital has failed to implement adequate staffing measures, affecting both patient care and working conditions

More than 120 residents across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region have submitted written complaints alleging forced smart meter installations, inflated electricity bills and notices from power companies. The complaints were collected during a citizen-led awareness campaign held across nine locations in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Virar.
