As Ayodhya witnesses an unprecedented rush after ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir, PM Modi has advised Union Ministers to refrain from visiting the temple for now, according to sources. In the cabinet meeting, PM Narendra Modi advised all his cabinet colleagues to refrain from visiting the Ram Temple for now. The PM suggested that, due to the heavy rush and to prevent inconvenience to the public caused by VIPs with protocols, Union Ministers should plan their visits to Ayodhya in March. Over five lakh devotees have offered prayers to Ram Lalla in last two days. Uttar Pradesh Government is taking steps to manage the crowd. Today, CM Yogi also issued strict orders to the administration to ensure adequate security in the city.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath addressed a public rally in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on January 01 where he said that India’s respect has increased in the global scenario as a new India is visible to the world. Speaking further, he said that earlier, those who hesitated to take the name of Ayodhya are now saying that they will surely go to the consecration ceremony of the temple if they get an invitation. Agra's Taj Mahal has been placed on high alert following an increase in COVID cases in several countries, especially China. Several countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, and the United States, have seen an alarming surge in COVID cases. In order to prevent the spread of infection, all visitors must undergo a test. Health Ministry officials were directed to ensure effective implementation of COVID prevention measures. Taj Mahal visitors are required to wear masks. Anil Satsangi, the District Health Information Officer said, "The health department has already started the tests to prevent the spread of infection. As the alert is on, the tests have now been made mandatory for all the visitors."
