PM Modi in Telangana held a massive roadshow in the Medchal Malkajgiri on March 15 as part of the BJP's election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister was accompanied by State BJP President and Secunderabad Lok Sabha candidate G Kishan Reddy, Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat candidate Etala Rajender and BJP vice-president Dr K Laxman. The roadshow took place from Mirjalguda to Malkajgiri crossroad. A large number of spectators gathered in the area to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister during the roadshow. The Hyderabad traffic police earlier said that the traffic would be stopped in the entire area in view of the Prime Minister's roadshow. Security was tightened in the area in view of the roadshow on Friday evening. PM Modi is also scheduled to address two public meetings at Nagarkurnool on March 16 and Jagtial on March 18.The BJP is formulating strategies to win more seats in the Lok Sabha elections in the state this time. The party's top leaders have already focused on Telangana.

Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis along with his wife Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotakis arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan on February 21. He was received by his Indian Counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mitsotakis also received a guard of honour by the Indian Tri-Services. At the invitation of PM Modi, Greek PM Mitsotakis landed in India for a two-day State visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a rousing welcome from the Indian community and the people of Qatar in Doha. ‘Modi, Modi’ chants were echoed by the Indian community. Notably, PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Qatar. Upon his arrival in Qatar, PM Modi held bilateral talks with Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha. PM Modi Qatar visit will also see him meeting the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and conduct meetings on bilateral as well as regional and global issues on February 15. This visit assumes significance as it comes days after a diplomatic victory for India following the release of eight ex-Indian Navy personnel who were detained in Qatar for nearly 18 months since August 2022.

Bigg Boss 17 winner and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui visited Dongri, this afternoon, after exiting from BB house. A massive crowd was present in Dongri to welcome the Bigg Boss 17 winner. The 17 edition of Colors' reality show ended last night after host Salman Khan announced Munawar as its winner. TV actor Abhishek Kumar was the first runner-up of this season. Munawar defeated actor Abhishek Kumar through live voting in the finale, where Bollywood's Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan were the special guests. Marking another day in the history of J&K, the Supreme Court on Dec 11 upheld the abrogation of Article 370. The SC’s Constitution Bench unanimously upheld the abrogation of Article 370 which gave special status to J&K. A 5-Judge bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud pronounced the Article 370 verdict and called Article 370 “Temporary Provision”. Home Minister Amit Shah welcomed the SC’s verdict and said, “It proves, Govt’s decision was constitutional”. Union Home Minister Amit Shah presented the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill, 2019 in both houses. Notably, Supreme Court asked the Election Commission to hold J&K Assembly elections by Sept 2024. On August 5, 2019, the Central Government announced the revocation of the special status of J&K granted under Article 370.
