The Indian Army, Indian Navy and Air Force performed a firepower demonstration in Pokhran, Rajasthan. The war exercise displayed the firepower capability of indigenous weapons and the operational readiness of all three services of the Defence forces. The Bharat Shakti exercise, in line with the Aatmanirbharata initiative, showcased India's defence prowess through realistic multi-domain operations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth on February 12 witnessed the launch of Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services in Sri Lanka and Mauritius, and also RuPay card services in Mauritius, via video conferencing. The launch will enable the availability of UPI settlement services for Indian nationals travelling to Sri Lanka and Mauritius as well as for Mauritian nationals travelling to India. The extension of RuPay card services in Mauritius will enable Mauritian banks to issue cards based on the RuPay mechanism in Mauritius and facilitate usage of RuPay Card for settlements both in India and Mauritius.

While speaking to the media on Kerala blasts, Kerala Health Minister Veena George informed that 3 people were killed and several people were severely injured. People were coming to the casualty ward, around 60 people sought treatment from different hospitals, and one was brought dead. Soon after the Kerala blasts incident, the blame game began as the BJP held the Kerala Government responsible. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar held CM Vijayan responsible for the deadly incident. Kerala CM strongly reacted to Chandrasekhar’s remarks and said, “Those who are spitting poison will keep spitting poison”. On the other hand, Union Minister Anurag Thakur condemned Kerala's multiple blasts. He said that the State’s MP Rahul Gandhi’s complete silence on this shows that Congress is silently supporting them. Three persons lost their lives in the tragic incident and around 36 were severely injured.

One person died and several more were injured after multiple explosions took place at a prayer meeting of Jehovah's Witnesses in the Kalamassery area of Kerala's Kochi on the morning of October 29. The first explosion took place around 9 a.m. and multiple blasts followed thereafter, over the next hour. More than 2,000 people were attending the prayer meeting when the blasts took place. The incident came a day after the former chief of the terrorist group Hamas, Khaled Mashal, virtually addressed a pro-Palestine protest amid the Israeli military offensive in Gaza. Director General of Police Shaik Darvesh said that the preliminary investigation showed that an IED device was used for the explosion. Further investigations are going on in this Kerala blast incident.

And now, a flood-like situation due to Himachal Pradesh rains has yet again emerged in the state, especially in the Mandi district. The drone visuals show that the water levels of the Beas River have risen again. The tourists including foreigners were also stranded in Balh Valley in HP’s Mandi district. Parts of Delhi-NCR woke up to heavy rain on July 26, bringing respite from hot and humid conditions. Due to the downpour, parts of Delhi-NCR experienced waterlogging. Meanwhile, several areas of Noida witnessed severe waterlogging. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in Noida’s Echotech area due to a rise in the water level of the Hindon River on July 25. The vehicles were seen almost submerged in the water making it ‘Water Parking’. Several houses were also submerged in the low-lying areas on July 23. Light to moderate rains were witnessed in parts of the NCR, including Noida, in the early hours of July 25. Amidst heavy rainfall in parts of the country, the IMD has issued alerts for Maharashtra, Haryana, Chandigarh, UP, Rajasthan, HP, and Uttarakhand.
