Diwali 2023: Ayodhya To Hold Grand Deepotsav To Set Guinness World Record

Diwali 2023: Ayodhya is all set to hold a grand Deepotsav on November 11 on the eve of Diwali. A record attempt would be made with over 24 lakh diyas at 51 ghats set to illuminate the city. Around 25,000 volunteers from Avadh University and the Ayodhya district administration have been roped in to light the diyas at the same time. The team from the Guinness Book of World Records will be counting the lamps with the help of a drone camera. The grand Deepotsav programme in Ayodhya will commence at 3 pm. The Deepotsav will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Almost all ministers of the Uttar Pradesh government will be present in Ayodhya. After the Deepotsav, a laser show has been organised in the city.

International Yoga Day 2023: Surat: Over 1L people participate in yoga event

A yoga event in Gujarat’s Surat has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people for the yoga session. Over one lakh people took part in the Yoga event in Surat. The celebration witnessed the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, who joined the state-level International Day of Yoga commemoration. Meanwhile, several union ministers participated in yoga sessions along with the locals in their respective cities. From Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, several Union Ministers started their day with their health being their priority on International Yoga Day. Along with Defence and Railways Ministers, Commerce, Education, and Sports Ministers also performed Yoga today. Amid all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on an Official State visit, will be participating in a Yoga session that will be held at the UN HQ in the US.
