Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has said he will skip a major part of the Bangladesh Premier League to play in the limited overs series against England.

"The Bangladesh league clashes with our one-day and T20 series against England and for me national duty has always remained the top priority because Pakistan has given me a lot. I want to play for Pakistan because my team needs me and we want to keep the winning sequence intact," The Daily Times quoted Afridi, as saying.
