The last time India played here was on February 22, against South Africa and the attendance was a whopping 86,876. This time too, the number should be close to a lakh given the massive Indian and Bangladeshi population in Australia.
"The crowds for this World Cup have been outstanding and very supportive, and we look forward to similar encouragement when for our quarter-final tomorrow. There are some excellent players on either side and I will encourage people to fill the MCG and enjoy what I think will be an excellent contest between the two subcontinental sides," Dhoni said.
