Man of the match of India’s 21-run win over Sri Lanka in the first ODI, Virat Kohli, has said that the national jersey inspires him to do well each time he steps onto the field.

“I get really motivated when I put on the India jersey. It is a responsibility, so I want to perform in the best way I can,” said Kohli, who scored a 133-ball 106 as India posted 314-6 before restricting Sri Lanka to 293-9 in the day-night match for a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.
