MCA polls: Gopinath Munde to pursue legal route if debarred

Gopinath Munde has threatened to take Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to court if his nomination for the presidential election stays rejected.

The senior Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and his lawyer yesterday met MCA president Ravi Savant to put forward their case after the election officer disqualified Munde on the grounds that he is not a permanent resident of Mumbai. As per records, Munde is a permanent resident of Beed. The final outcome of the hearing that was held yesterday will be out today.
