Kolkata: India pacer Mohammed Shami, who is recovering from an injury, had another reason to celebrate Eid after becoming a proud father for the first time following the birth of his daughter.

The big moment for Shami came yesterday afternoon when his wife Hasin Jahan gave birth to his daughter at 2.40pm at a private hospital.
