Sunderam, a former coach at Mumbai Cricket Association&rsquo;s Bandra-Kurla Academy, is now the coach of two-time Ranji champions Rajasthan. And as the Ranji season is just around the corner, the former pace bowler has to deal with rising expectations. <img alt="Pradeep Sunderam" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2013/oct/Pradeep-Sunderam.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 494px;" /> Pradeep Sunderam &ldquo;Expectations are very high. Unfortunately we didn&rsquo;t click last season. But I am not feeling any pressure as this in my first season. I played and coached in Mumbai. That experience is helping me very much,&rdquo; said Sunderam, who also played for Rajasthan. &ldquo;My experience with Rajasthan players has been great so far. Most of them are from the districts, so it&rsquo;s easier to counsel them,&rdquo; added Sunderam who had famously taken all ten wickets in an innings in a Ranji trophy match against Vidarbha.

Pradeep Sunderam, 59, is the marathon man of Indian domestic cricket. He is a well-recognised face on Mumbai's maidans.
