Tendulkar's 141 & 4-38 against Australia (1998)
The inaugural edition in Bangladesh witnessed an impressive 141 from Sachin Tendulkar in India's opening match against Australia. The batting legend's innings included a 140-run stand with Rahul Dravid and 132-run stand with Ajay Jadeja. His 128-ball knock bailed out India and helped his team post a mammoth 307-8 in 50 overs after reeling at eight for two at one stage. This was also Tendulkar's third consecutive ODI ton against Australia in 1998 after his 143 and 134 in Sharjah. He did not stop there as he made the Aussies dance to his tune with the ball as well, picking up four for 38 in India's 44-run win.
