In the third of the five-match Test series against England, Team India suffered a humiliating loss by 22 runs at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground.

During the match, Team India's all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja played a crucial role. Despite the fall of wickets, the left-hander played a fighting knock of an unbeaten 61 runs off 181 deliveries, including four boundaries and a maximum.

Following Jadeja's knock, India's head coach Gautam Gambhir labelled it as 'absolutely brilliant'. "That was an incredible fight. The fight from Jaddu, that was absolutely brilliant," said Gambhir.

Shouldering Jadeja was Mohammed Siraj, who faced 30 balls and managed to score four runs. The pacer, too, was in awe of Jadeja's contributions.

"As a team, as a player, Jaddu bhai is extraordinary in the fielding, in bowling, in batting, he has improved in everything. He makes runs in every important situation for the team. It is difficult to find a player like him for our team. We are lucky to have such a player in our team," said Siraj.

Assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate was also nothing short of praise for the 36-year-old all-rounder. He said that Jadeja's defence makes him appear like a proper batsman.

"His batting has reached another level. The last two Tests, the consistency and the calmness he has brought to the change room in difficult situations. Watching him for so many years and how he has developed his game. His defence looks rock solid. He looks like a proper batter," said Doeschate.

India's batting coach Sitanshu Kotak also heaped praise on the veteran by saying he is 'really valuable for the team'.

"I always felt he has that ability to take that pressure. Anyone with so much experience will get mature. He normally comes out with something what the team needs in any challenging conditions. Really valuable to the team," Kotak said of the Gujarat-born cricketer.

Currently, Team India is trailing by 1-2 in the five-match series, and will lock horns against the 'Three Lions' for the fourth Test match, which is scheduled to kick off from July 23 onwards in Manchester.
