Indian Premier League 2018: Players will earn thrice more for top-four finish

For the first time, players will get 100 per cent of prize money; earlier, franchises kept 70 per cent and gave players 30 per cent

The 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will kick off on April 7, is going to be much bigger as far as players' prize money is concerned. For the first time in 11 years, the players' prize money will not be shared with the franchisee if their team finishes in the top four.
