IPL spot-fixing: Rajasthan Royals terminate contracts of all three tainted cricketers

Beleaguered Rajasthan Royals today terminated the contract of the three players -- including India pacer S Sreesanth -- arrested on charges of spot-fixing in the ongoing IPL besides filing an FIR against the tainted trio. The Railways have also suspended former Ranji Trophy player Baburao Yadav after his detention for involvement in scandal.
"Based on the information provided by the authorities, the contracts of all three players have been suspended pending enquiry," Rajasthan Royals chairman Ranjit Barthakur said in a statement.
"We have already filed a complaint with the Delhi Police against all three players earlier today," he added.
