Bangalore: Pace spearhead Varun Aaron wrecked Karnataka with a six-wicket haul to help Rest of India bowl out the Ranji Trophy champions for 244 on day one of the Irani Cup here today.

Karun Nair (59) and debutant Abhishek Reddy (54) shepherded Karnataka's innings with a 113-run fifth wicket stand but once they departed, Karnataka witnessed a batting collapse with the hosts losing their last six batsmen for just 24 runs in the final session of the day.
