Wellington: New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has backed the proposed changes in International Cricket Council (ICC)’s administrative structure which would hand over major decision making responsibility to arguably the three biggest cricketing boards in Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Cricket Australia (CA).
These responsibilities would include both on and off the pitch including revenue sharing. Despite the support by the board, the New Zealand Players’ Association came out strongly against the move calling it “scheming” by India, Australia and England.
