T20 World Cup 2026: Kyle Jamieson replaces injured Adam Milne in New Zealand's squad

Milne has sustained a torn left hamstring injury and will not feature in the tournament. New Zealand have been placed in Group D of the tournament along with Afghanistan, Canada, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2026, New Zealand has included Kyle Jamieson in their squad after Adam Milne was ruled out of the marquee tournament.

Milne has sustained a torn left hamstring injury and will not feature in the tournament. He suffered the injury in the first over of the SA20 match between Sunrisers Eastern Cape and MI Cape Town, and the scans have revealed the extent of the damage, according to New Zealand Cricket.
