Legendary West Indian commentator, writer and author, Tony Cozier&nbsp;has passed away at the age of 75.
The Barbadian died in his home country&nbsp;after after prolonged illness. He had been admitted to a hospital on May 3.

Cozier, regarded as the voice of West Indies cricket, was born in July 1940 in Barbados.
Cozier began writing on cricket as a teenager in 1958 and&nbsp;will be remembered for a exemplary career in TV, radio and journalism spanning 58 years.&nbsp;
Cozier, whose father Jimmy was also a cricket writer, began his commentary career in 1965 during Australia's tour of West Indies.
In 2011, Cozier was awarded a honorary life membership of the Marylebone Cricket Club for services to the game.
In a July 2013 interview&nbsp;Cozier had said, "I am obsessed with the sport. I stay up late or wake up in the wee hours. I even stay up to watch Zimbabwe play Bangladesh but that doesn&rsquo;t last more than an hour. The IPL I don&rsquo;t see. I still write columns for three papers on a Sunday. I&rsquo;m not going anywhere yet."
