On the eve of tonight&rsquo;s crucial Champions League clash against Juventus here, the news from the Chelsea camp and Spanish striker Fernando Torres in particular is not pleasing. There is a possibility that the star striker could well be axed from the side tonight amidst reports that he wants to move back to Spain. <img alt="" src="http://images.mid-day.com/2012/nov/bluesrain.jpg" style="width: 400px; height: 377px;" /> Chelsea striker Fernando Torres Pic/AFP Sturridge may playu00a0Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has hinted that he is ready to drop the misfiring Torres tonight as the Blues&rsquo; defence of their European title is on the line against Serie A leaders Juve. Torres struggled for the 63 minutes he played against West Bromwich Albion , in a match that Chelsea eventually lost 1-2. Di Matteo looks set to give Daniel Sturridge the lone striker&rsquo;s tonight. &ldquo;If I believe it is the right thing to do for the team, then yeah, I will leave him (Torres) out. When we moved Daniel Sturridge up there, he looked a danger. He had a very good chance saved by the keeper and another put wide. He was always a threat to the defence. We need to score goals, this is clear. We will look at the set-up of the team and maybe sacrifice a little of the attacking options,&rdquo; said Di Matteo. Chelsea have made hard work of their group, with a fortunate last minute win over the Shakhtar Donetsk last time setting them up nicely for the trip to Turin. However, they come into it in the worst possible fashion having collected just two points out of a potential 12 off their last four English Premier League encounters. Meanwhile, the Blues&rsquo; interest in Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao has fuelled rumours that Torres could move over to the Madrid side while Falcao comes to Wet London. Di Matteo made his intentions about Falcao crystal clear when he recently said: &ldquo;Falcao is one of the best strikers, probably, in European and world football. His ratio of goals per game is quite impressive not just this season but over the last three years, at Porto and Atletico Madrid. If you ask any manager, he&rsquo;d have him in his team.&rdquo; Falcao eyeing Blues? Falcao also seems titled towards the London outfit and the Premier League. &ldquo;Chelsea are champions of Europe and there is not much more to say than that. I would not be worried about the physical aspect of the Premier League. I have scored goals in Argentina, Portugal and now Spain. I am confident I can adapt my game to any league. I would welcome the challenge of the Premier League,&rdquo; he said.
