In the WPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians, UP Warriorz emerged victorious by seven wickets at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.

Having put to chase a target of 162 runs, UP Warriorz scored 162 runs for the loss of three wickets in 18.1 overs.


Opening the innings, skipper Meg Lanning managed to score 25 runs in 26 balls, with the help of three boundaries and a maximum. Fellow opening batswoman Kiran Navgire scored just 10 runs in 12 balls, including two boundaries.



Phoebe Litchfield accumulated 25 runs off 22 balls, which was laced with two boundaries and a maximum.

Mumbai's Nat Sciver-Brunt bagged two wickets by conceding 28 runs in three overs. Amelia Kerr also picked up one wicket by giving away 42 runs in four overs.

Earlier, having put to bat first, Mumbai Indians' opening batswoman Amanjot Kaur accumulated 38 runs in 33 balls, including seven boundaries. Fellow opening batsman Gunalan Kamalini departed early on just five runs off 12 balls.

Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur managed to score 16 runs in 11 balls. Her knock was laced with a boundary and a maximum.

Premier all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt played a crucial knock of 65 runs off just 43 deliveries. Her knock was laced with nine boundaries and a maximum. Shouldering her was Nicola Carey, who garnered an unbeaten 32 runs in 20 balls, with the help of five boundaries. With this, Mumbai Indians posted a total of 161 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs.

Deepti Sharma, Sophie Ecclestone, Shikha Pandey and Asha Sobahana managed to register one wicket each to their names. Completing their quotas of four overs each, Pandey conceded 25 runs, and Deepti gave away 31 runs. Ecclestone was smashed for 26 runs in her spell of four overs, whereas Sobhana conceded 33 runs in three overs.

Kranti Gaud and Chloe Tryon went wicketless in the WPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians. In four overs, Gaud conceded 28 runs, and Tryon was smashed for 16 runs in one over.
