During the session, Pandya was spotted checking on Agastya after the little one appeared to suffer a minor injury while tagging along with his father

With no immediate national duties on his schedule, Hardik is currently enjoying a period of downtime at home, spending quality time with his family, especially with Agastya, who has often been seen shadowing his father during practice sessions

Most recently, Pandya featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, representing the Mumbai Indians franchise as captain. Under his leadership, the five-time champions put together a strong campaign, reaching the second qualifier. However, their title hopes were dashed by a spirited and determined Punjab Kings side, who clinched victory in the crucial knockout match

Looking ahead, Pandya is expected to return to international cricket during India’s upcoming white-ball tour of Sri Lanka in August. The tour has been scheduled as a replacement for India’s previously postponed visit to Bangladesh, which was deferred due to ongoing political unrest in the country

This Sri Lanka series is likely to mark Pandya’s comeback to international cricket after a gap of nearly five months. He last donned the Indian jersey in March 2025, during the ICC Champions Trophy, where he played a key role for the national side
