Indian cricket's dashing batter Smriti Mandhana celebrates her birthday today. Post her international debut in 2013, the southpaw has established herself as a star of women's cricket. Smriti Mandhana played cricket when she was mere 9 years old! Yes, the southpaw represented Maharashtra state's U-15 team & also played for the U-19 side

Whilst playing in the U-19 west zone, Smriti Mandhana became the first woman to score a double ton in a domestic ODI match against Gujarat when she smashed 224 of 150 deliveries

After her debut in 2013, Smriti hasn't looked back as she went on to break records after records. One of the records she holds is scoring 50+ runs in an innings against SENA countries (South Africa, England, New Zealand, Australia) in the T20I arena

Smriti has played in 74 ODIs, scored 2892 runs at an average of 42.52 with a strike rate of 84.24. When it comes to T20Is, Smriti has amassed 2033 runs in 87 matches at a strike rate of 120.15
