With this, he completed 7000 international runs. In 361 appearances, the left-hander has amassed 7018 runs, including four centuries and 39 half-centuries
He has joined the likes of Rishabh Pant (five fifty-plus scores between 2021-25) and Sourav Ganguly (four fifty-plus scores in 2002) as the third player with four or more successive fifty-plus scores on English soil
He also became the second Indian batsman to register two fifty-plus knocks in both innings at the Lord's Cricket Ground. Vinoo Mankad was the first Indian batsman to achieve the feat. He smashed 72 and 184 runs, respectively, in 1952
He has also joined MAK Pataudi (64 and 148 against England, Leeds in 1967 and 75 and 85 against Australia at Melbourne 1967), MS Dhoni (52 and 56* against New Zealand at Wellington in 2009 and 77 and 74* against England at Birmingham, 2011) to be amongst Indians to have multiple instances of twin fifty-plus scores in South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia (SENA) Tests while batting at number six or lower
Jadeja also registered his 29th fifty-plus score while batting at number six or below for Team India. He surpassed VVS Laxman (28 fifty-plus scores) to seal the third spot on the list. The top two batsmen are Kapil Dev (35) and MS Dhoni (38)
