During the fourth Test match against Team India, England skipper Ben Stokes played a knock of 141 runs in 198 balls, including 11 boundaries and three maximums. With the ball, he managed to register a five-wicket haul in India's first innings and also bagged one wicket in the second innings
With this, he has now scored 300-plus runs and has more than 15-plus wickets in a Test series
So far, Stokes has 304 runs in seven innings and has also registered 17 scalps in the ongoing Test series against Team India
The only player to achieve this feat for England before Stokes is Andrew Flintoff. During the Ashes 2005, he had scored 402 runs and also claimed 24 wickets against Australia
Stokes also tied with legendary all-rounder Ian Botham (12 'Player of the Match' honours) for securing the second-most POTM awards for England, and just one short of batter Joe Root's 13 'Player of the Match' awards
