In the second ODI match against the West Indies, Team India secured a victory by eight wickets at the Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati

During the match, Team India's veteran opening batsman Rohit Sharma played a knock of 101 runs in 75 balls. His knock included 10 boundaries and six maximums

With this, he became only the third Indian batsman to complete 12,000 runs in the format

Rohit joined the elite company of legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli

The Nagpur-born cricketer reached the 12,000-run mark in 282 innings, becoming the second-fastest batsman to achieve the feat
