In the previous edition of the league, SRH-led by Pat Cummins registered a gigantic total of 287 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Swashbuckling Travis Head and explosive batsman Heinrich Klassen delivered the knocks of 102 and 67 runs, respectively

In the ongoing IPL 2025, the 'Orange Army' fell short by just two runs from surpassing their own record of the highest total. The team posted 286 runs against Rajasthan Royals, thanks to Ishan Kishan's unbeaten century and Travis Head's explosive knock of 67 runs off 31 deliveries

The third-highest IPL total was yet again registered by SRH in the 2024 edition of the league. In the game at Hyderabad, the side smashed 277 runs against five-time champions, Mumbai Indians. Head garnered 62 runs, followed by Abhishek Sharma's 63 run-knock. Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klassen registered unbeaten scores of 42 and 80 runs, respectively

Since the last season, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have been the pillars of Hyderabad's batting line-up. Heinrich Klaasen, too, provides a reliable batting option in the middle order. With SRH touching the figures of 250 or more runs with ease, it seems that the side will touch the 300-run mark in the upcoming matches of the IPL 2025
