The ODI Women's World Cup 2025 warm-up match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was abandoned due to rain. However, the Sri Lankan women's team batted for 7.3 overs before the match was called off. Opening the innings for Lanka, skipper Chamari Athapaththu departed on five runs. In the warm-up match against India, England emerged victorious by a margin of 152 runs. Batting first, England posted a score of 339, thanks to skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt's knock of 122 runs off 105 deliveries. Her knock was laced with 13 boundaries and two maximums. In the warm-up game played against New Zealand, India 'A', led by Minnu Mani, secured a dominating win by four wickets with the help of the DLS method. New Zealand's Izzy Gaze smashed an unbeaten knock of 101 runs, which came in 100 deliveries. Her knock included 15 boundaries and a maximum. Riding on her score, the 'White Ferns' registered a target of 274 runs. India made 226 runs and were declared the winners by the DLS method. Shafali Verma was the architect of India's innings, garnering 70 runs in 49 balls, with the help of 11 boundaries and a maximum.
