In 2018, Rishabh Pant stepped up with an aim to fill in the large shoes of the legendary MS Dhoni in Team India. Since his debut, the left-hander has achieved several milestones for the country
Pant is Asia's most successful wicketkeeper-batsman in SENA (South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia) conditions. So far in 30 Test matches in SENA, the Uttar Pradesh-born has amassed 2,160 runs, including six centuries and eight half-centuries
The 27-year-old is also Team India's wicketkeeper-batsman with the most number of Test centuries. He has surpassed Dhoni after the recently concluded England tour. Currently, Pant holds the record with eight tons
Pant is the second designated wicketkeeper batter with a glorious feat of twin centuries to his name, after Andy Flower, who achieved the feat against South Africa in Harare in 2001 with scores of 142 and an unbeaten 199 runs
The swashbuckling player is also India's joint-leading six-hitter in Test cricket. He currently equals former cricketer Virender Sehwag's record of 90 sixes in the format
The left-hander ended the English summer with 2,731 runs in ICC World Test Championship (WTC) history, above former skipper Rohit Sharma's tally of 2,716 runs
