Manchester: Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola showed flashes of frustration after the defending champions were held 1-1 at Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

The game saw Bastian Schweinsteiger sent off while centre-back Javi Martinez will miss the second leg on April 9 after being booked for a foul on Javier Hernandez. Guardiola afterwards expressed dissatisfaction with Spanish referee Carlos Velasco Carballo.
