Berlin: Former Germany international goalkeeper Tim Wiese is set to make his professional wrestling debut in a WWE event on Saturday, according to a report in the German media.

Wiese retired from professional football in September, at the age of 32, having won the last of his six caps for Germany in 2012, but took up weightlifting after an unsuccessful move from Werder Bremen to Hoffenheim the same year.
