Panaji: FC Goa team management has expressed "surprise and shock" at the Rs.11 crore fine and the ban on FC Goa co-owners Dattaraj Salgaocar and Srinivas Dempo to three and two years respectively on disciplinary grounds by the Indian Super League Regulatory Commission on Thursday.

A statement issued by the co-owners of FC Goa late on Thursday said: "We are surprised and shocked with the order as ISL was to decide on the application of jurisdiction and not to proceed on the hearing as AIFF which is the supreme body directed to maintain status quo on March 31. We are studying the order and considering all options before us."
