Mumbai: FC Pune City found themselves under scrutiny for fielding more foreign players than allowed during their 0-5 drubbing at the hands of Mumbai City FC in their Indian Super League (ISL) match here.

Pune may now be penalised for apparent breach of league rules after they put in Colombian Omar Rodriguez in place of India's Mehrajuddin Wadoo in the 61st minute as the third substitution — a move which led to Pune fielding seven foreign players (Belardi, Cirillo, Katsouranis, Park, Rodriguez, Trezeguet, Dudu).
