Pune: David James, the skipper of Kerala Blasters FC, is one of the rare international players competing in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL) who is donning two hats — that of a player and a manager.

"This dual role is quite interesting, and most importantly I am still learning. Playing the role of a player and the manager is something which is new for me and I am sure this will help the players of Kerala better," said James, who, at 44, is amongst the oldest players in the ISL.
