Berlin: The boot with which Mario Goetze struck the World Cup-winning goal this year has raised two million euros (US$2.45m) for German charity 'A Heart for Children', the organisers said on Saturday.

The Bayern Munich star donated to the charity the left boot with which he scored in extra-time, against Argentina to seal Germany's fourth World Cup title in Brazil. All the money will go to the German charity which helps disadvantaged children.
