Panaji: Goan giants Salgaocar have appointed Norberto Gonsalves as their new chief coach for the upcoming season.

Having started as an assistant coach with Salgaocar from 1995-2000, Norbert has gone on to coach various clubs around the country over a period of 20 years, a release issued by the club said.
