Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink football tournament: Rumane strikes brace as St Joseph’s progress

Emaas Rumane netted a fine brace as St Joseph’s (Umerkhadi) beat Divine Mercy (Bhayandar) 3-0 in first-round match of the 45th Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana rink football tournament, played at the WCG’s tennis courts recently. Sahil Tandel netted the third goal for the Umerkhadi side. 

In another match, Our Lady of Health (Versova) demolished St Louis (Dahisar) 7-1. Ryan Bothello netted a brace while Chris Fernandes, Brayden Fernandes, Pratik Vadilkar, Chetan Solanki and Rohit Bonde scored one goal each. Ryan Fernandes scored the consolation goal for St Louis.
