Manchester United started off with a bang, scoring twice in the first 15 minutes. Mattheus Cunha opened the scoring from a corner before Benjamin Sesko doubled the lead as United finished the first half leading 2-0.

In the second half, Liverpool scored two quick goals to peg back United and level the game at 2-2. Dominic Szobozlai and Cody Gapko scored for the visitors.

Mainoo's winner meant United moved 6 points clear of Liverpool and secured a UCL spot for the next season.
