Los Angeles Laker star LeBron James, 33, is in talks not just to produce but even act in a comedy film. According to USA"s Variety magazine, LeBron is working with writer Steve Mallory and has sold the film"s rights to Paramount Players. The film which is in the development stages, will have Maverick Carter as James" business partner. LeBron recently agreed to a four-year $154 million deal with the Lakers getting him closer to Hollywood.

The 6-ft-8 basketball star has previously acted alongside Amy Schumer in the Judd Apatow-directed hit, Trainwreck. LeBron became a member of the prestigious Producers Guild after recently producing the film Hustle, where a talent scout tries to bring a Chinese player into the NBA.
