Defending champions Mumbai Police City Riders opened their campaign in style as they defeated Bandra Heroes by six wickets in the Twister-Mitsui Shoji T-20 five-team league, hosted by MCC and Jwala Sports Foundation at Police Gymkhana ground, Marine Lines last night.

Batting first, Bandra Heroes could muster only 133 for eight.
