New Delhi: Japan's rising star shuttler Kento Momota and Thailand's Ratchanok Intanon emerged winners in the finals of the $300,000 India Open Superseries here on Sunday.

Second seed Momota, 21, moved past Danish fifth seed and 22-year-old Viktor Axelsen 21-15, 21-18 in 45 minutes to extend his superior head-to-head record to 6-2.
