There are only four runners in the fray for the prime event of the Sunday card framed at the Mahalaxmi racecourse; and though the older Shivalik Showers cannot be written off completely, the younger duo of Costa Del Sol and Colombiana are expected to lock horns in the battle for supremacy in the grade 3, Godrej Properties Turf Championship to be run over the trip of nine furlongs.

Costa Del Sol hails from the Pesi Shroff yard and will be ridden by Trevor Patel, whereas Colombiana is trained by his arch rival Malesh Narredu and will be ridden by Suraj Narredu. There is reason to believe Costa Del Sol may have done better than he did had the foreign riders who rode him given him a more sensible ride, and therefore, he gets my first nomination.
