&gt;&gt;She is also the youngest ever Grand Slam singles champion
&gt;&gt;Her favourite food dish is Sushi.
&gt;&gt;Hingis has dated a list of sportsmen &ndash; tennis players Magnus Norman, Ivo Heuberger and Julian Alonso, golfer Sergio Garcia. She was also engaged briefly to tennis star Radek Stepanek. She also married a much younger Thibault Hutin, a show jumper but parted ways.
&gt;&gt;She has 5 singles grand slams to her name &ndash; 3 Australian Open titles and 1 Wimbledon and US Open each.
&gt;&gt;She has won the double grand slam an impressive 11 times. &ndash; 4 Australia Open, 2 French Open, 3 Wimbledon and 2 US Open titles.
&gt;&gt;In 2001, Hingis sued the company Sergio Tacchini for their defective manufactured shoes due to which she suffered a foot injury.
&gt;&gt;She retired in 2003 at age 22 only to come out of retirement ten years later in 2013.
&gt;&gt;She was banned during the Wimbledon 2007 for testing positive for cocaine.
&gt;&gt; In 2013, Martina Hingis entered the International Tennis Hall of Fame. She is also its first ever Global Ambassador.
