Thanks to Karan Nandey's heroics, Ghatkopar Jets beat Bandra Heroes by 61 runs to sail into the final of the Mitsui Shoji cricket league at Police Gymkhana on Tuesday.

They will play Mumbai Police City Riders, who registered a four-wicket win over Shivaji Park Warriors in the other semi-final.
Ghatkopar Jets will be further bolstered with the arrival of former Sri Lankan bowler Chaminda Vaas for the final to be played under floodlights on Friday.
Opener Karan smashed 10 fours and three sixes, as the defending champions scored 213. Pushakraj Chavan (41) and Puneet Tripathi (34) made vital contributions.
During the chase, Bandra Heroes just could not get going as they lost wickets at regular intervals. In the end, Heroes fell short by 61 runs.
Skipper Swapnil Salvi (37) and opener Jiniv Joshi (31) were among the principal run-getters. Right-arm spinner Karan Nandey, was the chief destroyer with 4-22 in his four overs.
The other semi-final saw Shivaji Park Warriors lose to Mumbai Police City Riders'. Batting first, Warriors could manage only 108.
City Riders made heavy weather of the chase before Santosh Shinde and Swapnil Kulaye saw them through.
