Andy Murray beat Jeremy Chardy yesterday to reach the Australian Open semi-finals without dropping a set, and then shrugged off concerns he will be undercooked for the battles ahead.

The British third seed was too strong and accomplished for the unseeded Frenchman, winning 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 in an hour and 51 minutes on the Rod Laver Arena, and will now face Roger Federer in the semi-final tomorrow.
