No Mercy 2016 took things to a new level where the event saw defending WWE champion AJ Styles face off against John Cena and Dean Ambrose for the title

No Mercy 2016 took things to a new level where the event saw defending WWE champion AJ Styles face off against John Cena and Dean Ambrose for the title. AJ Styles went on to beat his opponents and pinned Cena to retain his championship.


Dolph Ziggler, who put his career on the line in a match for the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz went on to win the match and the title. Nikki Bella defeated her current rival Carmella finally and showed the WWE universe that she still has fight in her.



Alexa Bliss who was to face Becky Lynch for the SmackDown women's championship had a new opponent following the latter's injury. Naomi came on to face Bliss and defeated her.

Baron Corbin defeated Jack Swagger in a match to determine the tougher guy.

The main event saw Bray Wyatt face off against Randy Orton. After weeks of mind games and rivalry, Wyatt showed that he would not be intimidated by Orton and went on to win the match. The event also saw a returning Luke Harper who confronted Orton.
